About the project
My goal was to create a product that supports people before they reach a point of overwhelm. When stress rises decision making becomes difficult. People need guidance that feels soft and immediate. SerenAI encourages small actions that require very little effort and still create real relief. Calm becomes something that feels possible even on a tough day.
Problem
Many wellness tools make people feel worse during stress. They add too many choices and track progress in ways that feel judgmental. Users shared that they want emotional support that is compassionate and easy to access. They do not want more pressure when they are already struggling.
When stress is invisible it grows quickly. People need something that notices when they are not okay and responds with care.

Insight
People open wellness apps at the hardest moments in their day. They do not need productivity. They need reassurance support and a simple step forward.
User research revealed that
• People want clear and kind guidance
• They feel calmer when the interface is soft and simple
• They believe in progress when it is presented in a supportive way
When the smallest effort still feels like progress people are more willing to continue caring for themselves.

SerenAI supports people who feel overwhelmed by life but prefer to manage stress quietly. These individuals want emotional tools that feel personal and private.

• A high performer who carries stress silently until they shut down

An early user test produced meaningful improvements after four weeks
• Users reported feeling half as stressed in their daily lives
• Breathing sessions increased by more than thirty five percent
• People paused ten times earlier than usual before stress became overwhelming
• Seventy percent said they noticed real emotional progress and felt more in control
These results showed that people continue caring for themselves when support feels gentle and achievable.
